The Morning After

Dog Blog Post #189: And now, for this years Goals and Resolutions. To keep things brief, most things have links to somewhat explanatory past blog pages (or external pages in the case of "The Big Stuff".)

The Big Stuff:

• Sue Ailsby's New Training Levels: Complete all levels, both dogs. No, I don't really think I can do it, but as no one could give me an idea how long it should take, let's just shoot for the whole thing and see what happens.
• My Canine Curriculum: Complete Primary School (Henry)
• My Canine Curriculum: Complete Secondary School (Zachary and Henry)
• AKC's Canine Good Citizen (CGC) Certificate: Given Henry's age, and when I can get a class, it's iffy if we can get this done by the end of 2011, but we'll try.
• Rally Novice: Enter at least one trial (Zachary)

Classes:

• Family Dog (Henry)
• Family Dog II (Henry)
• CGC (Henry)
• Conformation (Henry - if he "turns out" and I can find one, else Agility for Fun)
• Rally (Zachary - if I can find one)

Things from Last Year:

• Photo of the Week (most likely posted on Wordless Wednesday)
• Weekly Worksheets (posted on BZDog Activities blog)
• Monthly Manager (posted on BZDog Activities blog)
• Video everything and put it on YouTube channel: bzfischer (84 uploads so far!)
• Train 10-15 minutes a day, per dog, 5 days a week
• Go "Someplace Fun" with the dogs (shoot for twice a month)
