Something Cherished
Dog Blog Post #385: Frantic Friday strikes again!
Daily Shoot assignment was...
Make a photo of something you cherish today in beautiful light. Arrange and move things if you need to.
I had fun taking a picture here and a picture there as I had time. I picked the one up top, but here are a few more...
I liked this assignment, because it got me thinking about how different the boys are, and the kind of pictures that bring out the best in each of them.
Henry is as soft on the inside as the out, and I do believe it comes through in pictures. Zachary always looks focused/intense in pictures, but that's probably because he's staring at The Ball! He's a pushover in person.
How about your fur-babies?

I love the shadow one. Soft and striking at the same time. You have such gorgeous dogs and they always take such great pictures. I also love the one on the walkway. Thanks for sharing.
I love the second to last picture.
I loved the first one, and I see you had a similar idea of catching one of them in a spot of sunlight. Henry does always look soft to me, and Zachary seems intense and aloof. They're both gorgeous, though!
The top photo of Henry is stunning. He looks so much like a cuddly teddy bear:) Well, a cuddly teddy bears head anyway! And love the second to bottom photo of Zachary, very moody.
You're an awesome photographer. Love the pictures of your goldens - they have such personalities - you can tell!
Dropping by on the blog hop today - I'm working the big Petfinder Adoption Day - by helping out Etowah Valley Humane Society at the Acworth (GA) Petco. Paws crossed for lots of fur-ever homes for our wonderful pets.
Such handsome boys! Have a great weekend.
Well, Sam is an old pro at picture taking - he just plops his butt down at is patient until it is all done. Monty on the other hand, is pretty sure we are trying on an hourly basis to steal his soul, and the camera is just further proof - I think that comes out in his early pictures. Some of the more recent ones show him being more relaxed! BOL!
Sam
That first photo of Henry is so sweet.
Yes, everyone of our dogs has a different personality, it amazes me. Even the twins, who have been together since birth are totally different.
Love all these photos, but my fave is the first one of Henry. Such a sweetie :-)
I am a big Photo Fan..especially when they are taken of me :) Hope you are having a peaceful Sunday in your end of the yard...Woof!
