111 Pictures in 2011 - "#99. Family"
Can't get much more aligned than that.
I took a slew of pictures, and ended up with more than the usual sideways looks (due to the distraction caused the resident squirrel) closed eyes and other photographic disasters (garden hose, bad lighting, ill-placed stuffie, etc.)
But I did get a few nice singles...

As for Scavenge Challenge, I took a gamble on...
"4) Honor your civil servants with something related to emergency response. No hydrants."
... with...
... and an alternate...
I doubt it's going to pass muster, but it's a shot I've been wanting to get for several months, I finally got the book from the library, and this seemed a fine time to give it a whirl.

I thought the civil servants photos were awesome! You did a fantastic job on those.
I also love the family shot. I can almost picture that one with a frame around it and a few props! Those portraits of them really capture them, too, I thought!
And the sunset picture got added to the groups today! I wasn't sure, is there just one photo that can be added to each of those two groups per day? I'm so behind on Scavenge Challenge! Gah!

A hydrant would have been a good prop for the boys;) The book looks like a good read.
