Portrait of a Precious Puppy |
Editor's Note: Yes, I know he's technically not a puppy anymore, but I just don't have the heart to tell him.
Today was a good day for coat colors, as both boys look pretty close to real life.
For some reason, it is surprisingly hard to capture Henry's true coat color. Zachary often comes out Zachary colored and Beau always looked like Beau, so I have no idea what's up with Henry.
He either comes out washed out or too pink (not that there's anything wrong with that!) or too yellow or too tan or too... something.
I hate flash and rarely use it, so I understand that indoor pictures are going to be skewed by the lights, but you would think most outdoor shots would look pretty close - wouldn't you?

Pallo always ends up a funny color in pictures, no matter the lighting. He ends up orangish, reddish, pinkish, dull brown, or other random colors, but rarely his true coat color (which is a rich coppery tan with black tips).
I am shocked that Henry didn't don a Halloween hat for us today! Shocked, I tell you! :P
I think the Precious Puppy will always be the Precious Puppy. Bunny has a coat that changes color in different light. I think it's just that she has a variety of highlight colors in her hair. Henry might have something similar going on. I always think he looks great in his pictures, if that helps!
Still laughing about the tape! I'm hoping I have time to get a spooky shot before the trick or treaters start arriving!
your boys are just precious no matter what colour they are!!!
I don't like flash either, but sometimes I have to bite the bullet. Love the pics--he sure is precious!!
In that shot Henry still does look like a puppy.:)) Magnus is looking all grown up to me now too, but I don't want to face it.LOL Our little boys are not puppies in more, but still gorgeous boys! These are some gorgeous shots today!
