The Eyes Have It
Dog Blog Post #510: Today's Daily Dog Challenge was...
17. The Eyes Have It - "Make a photograph of your dog's eye or eyes as close as you can get."
... one that I rarely do well. I'd like to think it's because the boys' eyes are so rich and dark brown (like the Standard says they should be) but I'm not sure I buy that.
Especially when I do something as lame-brain as leaving the white drool rag oh-so-fashionably tucked into my belt while I take a picture of those oh-so-reflective eyes.
(sigh)
... and since that's all I have on the canine front, how about some Scavenge Challenge pictures of pretty foliage for "Make an image with a crisp, fresh bright appeal"..
... and "Make a close-up photo of one of Nature's smaller beauties (subject size under 2 inches)."
... all three being principally of the Crape Myrtle, with the last having a rose hip as well.
Oh wait, I do have one more canine shot - this one for "grungy, dark, worn look"...
... really must clean those screens one of these days.

the eyes are the windows to the soul..have always wondered about a dog's soul?..so special..and filled with unconditional love.
I like the picture, and now I see the drool rag! I wouldn't have known what it was if you hadn't said it. *snicker*
Gah! Must get in gear on the Scavenge Challenge! The killer is that I know what I want to do for a lot of the challenges, I just can't get them taken!
What wonderful thoughts hide in those eyes? Glad you took the time to try to find out!
Puppy Kisses,

oh what secrets our eyes can hold!
beautiful.
Blue skies and fall leaves. Sigh, I wish you would send some of that my way.
I really had to zoom in to see the drool rag. I don't think I would have noticed it if you hadn't pointed it out. If you're anything like me, you're your own worst critic. ;) Your photos are always lovely.
I told my fiance that the Dog Daily Challenge is giving me new camera fever, and he just shook his head at me. Sigh.
