How Much???

How Much???

Dog Blog Post #596: Today's Daily Dog Challenge assignment of...

104. Just Desserts - Our dogs all like to get rewarded in some way, what is your dog's idea of what his or her 'just desserts' are?

PLUS

Our Daily Challenge - Feb. 12, 2012 - Date (as in Going Out)
Scavenge Challenge February 2012 - "7. Make an artistic shot of something which has a number on it."

... gave me an excuse to repurpose the pink fabric from yesterday's "pillow cover" to today's "table cloth" draped over an old end table.

Isn't reuse fun!

Henry is now wearing the heart pendant on Red Ribbon, while Zachary is sporting a snappy red bandana (i.e. an inexpensive Fat Quarter from the fabric store.)

The red crinkly paper was found at the bottom of a lovely (and tasty!) gift basket from my brother.

The glass dish it sits in is one of a dozen used to hold flowery centerpieces at our wedding - making them rather old, actually. (They make wonderful ice cream sundae bowls!)

You might notice that the table in the picture above isn't positioned the same as all the shots below. That's because, after a few shots, I realized that it was going to be hard to get the boys close enough to the table to get a nicely proportioned shot (not too much black above, not too little dog on either side.) By turning the table, I could squeeze them closer together.

That said, I fell in love with the "story" of the top shot, and ended up going with it.

Dessert
"Drooling problem? What drooling problem?"

I also picked up...

112 Pictures in 2012 - "#6. Candy or Sweets"

Which was probably stretching things a bit here, as dogs shouldn't be eating either of those two items, but they LOOK like candy/sweets, don't they???

They were actually reasonably healthy creations from rye and canola oil and such - with yogurt "frosting" on the big one.

An extra red paper napkin (bought for Christmas) was transformed into hearts with a little snip here and a little snip there.

While yesterday's picture was shot in mostly vacant Dining Room (since hubby put the chair back in the Living Room) today's took place in the Kitchen.

And as for Mischief Monday, just about every other picture could qualify...

Dessert
Me: "Henry, Leave your cookies alone."

Dessert
Me: "Heny, leave Zachary's cookies alone!"

Dessert
Henry: "Moooooom, he's doing it again!!!!!"

  3. I wish the boys had a spot for me at their table! I just adore these shots! I should have thought about turning my table like that. It was tough to get enough room for Bunny and her date to both get to the table!

If you have a Hobby Lobby near you, they have tons of cute bandannas for about a buck a piece. Not that I think you need any help in the cute accessory department!
