Luscious Texture
Dog Blog Post #601: Today's Daily Dog Challenge was...
109. Show Us Some Texture - Take a photo of your dog that shows us some texture. As long as we can tell what it is, it will work!

Our Daily Challenge - Feb. 17, 2012 - "Luscious"
Scavenge Challenge February 2012 - "14. Photograph a subject with a rough texture with emphasis on the texture itself."
This isn't the best "rough texture" shot - scroll down for better - but I fell in love with all the black and Henry's pale, fuzzy head and so I went with it.
I did try cropping it, thinking closer is better, but it just didn't seem to have as much impact, so I left the black.
As for the luscious part, the boys seemed to think these Parmesan Cheese cookies were luscious! I happen to think Henry's coat is luscious (using the definition: "richly luxurious or appealing to the senses", and my sense of touch finds it quite appealing, indeed!)
And yes, I actually walked up and down the dog cookie aisles specifically looking for "texture".
Hey, they're goldens. They'll eat practically anything, so I can afford to be eccentric in how I choose their treats. :)
This is actually the bottom of the cookie, as the tops are smooth.
While I had everything set up, I went ahead and shot: Scavenge Challenge February 2012 - 19. Without using any type of digital button, show us how something switches on or turns off.
Goodness, this was hard!
Trying to find something that turns on SAFELY around furry creatures was a real challenge.
I finally resorted to the Dremel I used to keep Beau's nails short and tidy.
I adore Dremeled nails, as it leaves no sharp edges. Alas, I've grown lazy, and now leave it to the groomers to clip them.
And finally, a "luscious" and a "texture" shot from earlier in the day...

Hey, it's Jet here. Boy, do your pups have patience and good behavior. I wish I could say that JJ and I can do those behaviors...but... we're still what Mom calls a work in progress. Beautiful pics by the way, thanks for sharing.
