Daily Dog Challenge 385. "Illusion"
Our Daily Challenge - Nov 19, 2012 - "Transparent"
Ugh.
To be honest, I wasn't that impressed with any of them, although I though the second picture (the "diamond" can be seen in yesterday's Adventure post) was the most interesting of the lot.
Unfortunately, no amount of slider pushing (and I pushed many and often) was going to give it enough contrast to be the Pick-of-the-Day.
That dubious honor went to the top shot, which, somewhat surprisingly, had almost nothing done to it except a nudge to the cool-side to take the edge of the Kitchen Light Yellows, plus a square crop to eliminate everything but the Henrys.
Alas
I didn't have enough light to pull these bottom two off. I really needed to use a small aperture (big number) in order to have the frame and dog appear to be as one.
Unfortunately, the Speedlight wasn't up to the task, even when I bumped the ISO ridiculously high (not shown here, as the pictures looked, well, ridiculous.)

I think the effects you got were really, really cool! I loved how they turned out. And my own blog appears to FINALLY be fixed! Huzzah!
