What are you grumbling about over there?
Zachary: "Not fair! This is all Henry's fur!" |
Well, it is your week to do the sweeping, but I can see there's a lot this time.
Henry, please help your Uncle finish up.
(silence) |
Henry: "Weeeeee!!!!!!" |
Henry!
Zachary, will you get back there. I didn't say you were finished.
Good grief!
This should have been an hour ago. How hard can it be to round up a few Dust Bunnies???
Henry: "Gee, she sure seems grumpy." |
Zachary: "Just start scrubbing." |
Dog Blog Post #1022
Ah, spring.
The appearance of Monster Dust Bunnies is one of the Signs of the Season around here.
I just Wish the boys wouldn't wait so long before sweeping them up.

And yes, that was ALL from Henry - raked out of his fur in a single session this evening - and he was just at the groomers this past Saturday.
This time of year Henry just can't get enough of the undercoat rake and dances about in delight as I drag it through his thick fur.
Zachary? He barely sheds a hair, and looks reproachfully at me when it happens.
Strange how different their coats are given that they are Uncle/Nephew.

That is a lot of furs for sure. My gal pal Belle, a Golden, has nothing on you boys. When she stays with us MOM rakes out 4 times that much almost every nigh. And she loves it. When MOM rakes me, well lets just say that you could put all my furs in a thimble.
Blessings,
Goose
the price we all pay for having a golden!..our house is full of those dust bunnies too!
I have been dreading the Spring grooming session. Just the site of the furminator has me running for cover. Oh and don't mention the bath word. Have a terrific Tuesday.
Best wishes Molly
Love the just keep scrubbing...they are just so darn adorable!!!
Woof! Woof! Not much ... the benefits of daily brushing. Lots of Golden Woofs, Sugar
Oh Zachary! The expression on your face in the second-to-last photo is worth a zillion doggie biscuits!
Ha ha ha! Oh, it's a similar story here! I think 90% of the hair comes from Morgan, too, although the Black Tornado contributes quite a bit as well! I wish I could get them to sweep it up or run the vacuum!
Oh, how we love fur shedding time here too. Tell Zachary he should be glad he doesn't have any kitties--they shed too.
