The Little Crocodile

Dog Blog Post #1010

How Doth the Little Crocodile

"How doth the little crocodile
Improve his shining tail,
And pour the waters of the Nile
On every golden scale!
How cheerfully he seems to grin,
How neatly spreads his claws,
And welcomes little fishes in
With gently smiling jaws!"

by Lewis Carroll, from Alice's Adventures in Wonderland

Our Daily Challenge - Apr 2, 2013 - "A Stranger's Smile"

... Not really what I was hoping for, but the day got away from me.

In the Funnies

Crocodile

Since several folks asked, this (and the much better IMHO comic for yesterday's April Fools post) was created using Comic Life 2. I downloaded their free 30-day trial version for my Mac (there is a PC version as well) and I'm impressed enough to pony up the $30 purchase price when I get a chance.

So far it's been both easy and fun to use. I've supplied my own pictures and background images, but everything else, including the image filters ("comicizing") was done using their software.

It does take a bit of fidgeting to get the pictures/boxes a pleasing size/shape to fill the space (as I did yesterday) hence it not being done tonight as it's already pushing 1am. (yawn)

They do supply many, many layouts to help you out, but putting your finger on the right one for the shape of the pictures you have to work with requires at least a passing level of familiarity that I simply don't have after spending just an hour or so with it.

(No affiliations, no freebies, your mileage may vary... etc.)
