Superstition
From Wikipedia, Hair of the Dog refers:
"… to alcohol that is consumed with the aim of lessening the effects of a hangover. The expression originally referred to a method of treatment of a rabid dog bite by placing hair from the dog in the bite wound. The use of the phrase as a metaphor for a hangover treatment dates back to the time of William Shakespeare."
Lacking either a rabid dog or a dog bite (although Henry might pass for the former if I go too long between muzzle wipes) I opted to show the alcohol connection.

Daily Dog Challenge "683. Canine Curves"
Ok folks, Golden Retrievers are supposed to be Rectangular dogs, not curvaceous ones! The tops of their heads perhaps?
The Minions are pretty curvy - especially on top - as are the bottles and glasses.
Behind The Scenes... Sort Of
Henry: "Wake me when you're ready." |
The shot above was taking early on, when I was still fiddling with the props. This shot came before the shot above it, but I didn't like the shadow across Henry's face.
Note, however, that through all my fiddling with the glasses and herding the Minions around, Henry remained in exactly the same place.
What a great model!
