Merry Christmas

Silent Night….

The Boys in front of our impromptu Christmas Tree.

Due to Family Plans, we'd decided to forgo the yearly tree.

However, Christmas Eve rolled around and it just didn't feel like Christmas.

So I pulled out my old Aluminum tripod and wound it with copious amounts of the pine garland we used in the prior house to decorate railing our current house does not have.

Some gold tinsel garland, a string of lights, the Angel on top, and some batting for snow to hide the legs created a rather nice little tree!

'Twas the Night Before Christmas - Part 8

He spoke not a word, but went straight to his work,

And filled all the stockings…

Zachary: "That should do it."

… then turned with a jerk.

And laying his finger aside of his nose,


And giving a nod, up the chimney he rose!

Henry: "Little help here. Santa? Santa???"

He sprang to his sleigh, to his team gave a whistle,

"Huh?"

And away they all flew like the down of a thistle.

But I heard him exclaim, ‘ere he drove out of sight,


"Happy Christmas to all, and to all a good-night!"

'Twas the Night Before Christmas - Part 7

Editor's Note: With the Director preoccupied watching the San Francisco 49ers vs. San Diego Chargers, the actors are left in charge of today's post…

His eyes-how they twinkled! his dimples how merry!


His cheeks were like roses, his nose like a cherry!


Henry: "Cherry?"

His droll little mouth was drawn up like a bow,


And the beard of his chin was as white as the snow.



Zachary: "Grrrrr"

The stump of a pipe he held tight in his teeth,

And the smoke it encircled his head like a wreath.

He had a broad face and a little round belly,

That shook when he laughed, like a bowlful of jelly!

Henry: "Ho Ho Ho!"

He was chubby and plump, a right jolly old elf,

And I laughed when I saw him, in spite of myself!


Zachary: "I am not plump!"

A wink of his eye and a twist of his head,


Soon gave me to know I had nothing to dread.

"Rooooaaaar!!!!"
