Miss?

Ok, Zachary. For today's shoot I need you to MISS the Lacrosse Ball when I toss it to you.

Zachary: "You want me to miss?"

Right.

How hard can that be?

Zachary: "Got it!"

Great. But I need you to miss.

Obviously, I need to make it harder...

Zachary: "Ugh - Got it!"

Retrievers unclear on the concept.

(sigh)

Next!

Ok, Henry. I need to you to NOT catch the Cookie.

Henry: (gulp)

Great. TODAY you figure out how to catch them.

Let's try tug...

Henry: "Oh boy! My FAVORITE game! I'm really good at this."

I know, but today I need you to MISS.

Henry: "Got it!"

The boys playful antics keep me Young at Heart.

At the top of this post, I was tossing Lacrosse Balls to Zachary, figuring he would Miss at some point.

Not a chance. That boy must have magnets for teeth.

So - here's how Zachary does NOT Miss!

Henry actually managed to catch his Cookies and didn't Miss grabbing the Tug Toy once.
