'Twas the Night Before Christmas - Part 2

The children were nestled all snug in their beds,

"Zzzzzzz"

While visions of sugar-plums danced in their heads.

"Food?"

And mamma in her ‘kerchief, and I in my cap,

And Mamma in her 'kerchief
Zachary: "He he he (snort) he he he!

Had just settled our brains for a long winter’s nap.

When out on the lawn there arose such a clatter,

There Arose Such A Clatter
"Huh?"

I sprang from the bed to see what was the matter.

I Sprang from the Bed
Zachary (off camera) : "What the heck was that?"
