Dog Blog Post #1659
The Corner of the White Bacon Cheesy-Burger To-Go bag including a Reflection on the table.
As I often get questions on this setup: The kitchen table is just medium-brown faux-wood plastic laminate.
The dark appearance is a combination of the low camera POV - it's on a tripod off table with the lens just above table height - and the black backdrop raised high enough to fill the reflection.
The main flash on tripod behind umbrella is to the right and my new flash at -1EV, with softbox, is sitting on the table on the left.
The bag was empty, the boys having Hoovered up the contents before I began setting everything up.
Henry has his front paws on a small step-stool so you can see him. This is a trick he does easily and well.
As Zachary won't stand reliably (safely - to my satisfaction) on the step-stool, I toss Cookies at him to get his muzzle above table height.

Today it was me...
Selfie with an empty bag |
… making sure the lighting wasn't going to be too harsh on the boys' eyes as this is my first outing with this setup and the (new) second flash.
Not-So-Still Life with a Bag and an Errant Cookie |
Proof the bag was empty and that my aim is horrible.
Zachary is off to the right, just off camera.

Best wishes Molly
Happy Monday! I want some :)
Hi Y'all!
Great photos, as usual. I go crazy for Hardy's sausage biscuit!
Bring on the biscuits!

Oh those are great. I would have had to chase Harlow down - she would have done a grab and run with the bag.

Those are some droolingly good pictures :-) I really liked the not-so-still life one with the cookie in mid-air!
Wow, what a set up. Great pix. (And now we know how you deliver the treats!)
