"Elwood: It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.
Jake: Hit it."

With hats and sunglasses, the boys are…

Our Daily Challenge - Feb 02 2015 - "Protected"

… against… the dark?

Daily Dog Challenge1189. "Mostly Monochrome"

All three shots I uploaded today are exactly the same image. The only difference is the processing.

Image Number 1: This is the least processed of the bunch - pretty much just turning it B&W, upping the exposure a bit, and cleaning up the backdrop a bit to make it more uniform white.

Image Number 2: This is the middle processed of the bunch - in addition to the above (#1), I tweaked the brightness, black point and contrast, and made the sunglasses darker.

Image Number 3 (below): This is the most processed of the bunch - in addition to the above (#2), I nudged the contrast still higher and altered the midpoint contrast.

My second flash with a softbox was sitting on the floor, just left of Zachary's rump, and pointed up at the backdrop - probably more toward the center than I should have.

Note to self: Put the solid black fabric under the white fleece next time to eliminate a really annoying seam that shows up from the backboard.

You know, I'm hard pressed to pick a favorite out of this group! I like the processing in all three of them, and of course the boys look amazingly cool!
