Daily Dog Challenge 1346. "Play it _____. Play '_______'"
Our Daily Challenge - July 9, 2015 - "Masks"
I'm rather tickled by how the shot came out, especially as it was my Plan B shot after Plan A flopped.
Badly (see below)
As for Plan B (above): any shot where the boys are doing different things - One sitting, one lying down - one looking at the camera and the other to the side - is hard, pretty much by definition. Throw in some cumbersome props and... yeah, I was pretty pleased with how my models did here.
But I'm sorry, Henry.
I really am.
Son keeps pleading your case that Zachary should have to play the girl, but, well, it's just that Zachary makes such a convincing Debonair Bachelor and I have no other dog to give the ladies part to.
I'm afraid Henry's more the sad-eyed, rumpled but lovable sort.
Hmmm... you know, he kinda look like Ryan Gosling, now that I think about it.
Zachary's more the Daniel Craig as James Bond type.
Just to set the record straight, Henry is paws down the more manly dog of the two.
There, feel better, Henry?

What was I thinking?
Editor's Note:
Flickr (where my images live) is trying out a version of their html code that displays the owner's name (that would be me) as well as Flickr's brand.
Personally, I find it a bit... much... and chose not to use it yesterday.
However, for the sake of fairness, I thought I'd show it today to see if anyone has an opinion...
End of the week mischief |
Yes? No? Show once per post? Once in a while? Never again?
About the only advantage I can see is that it suggests you can click on the image, and if you did it would take you to Flickr (where you can see a BIG version). That's the way the images have ALWAYS worked, of course. Nothing new there.
Clicking on my Buddy Icon (circle containing Beau and Zachary's image in the upper left) takes you to my Flickr photo stream - where you can see all my photos. They are the same ones you see here, only in an unending list that you can scroll through (8371 pictures as of 9pm July 8, 2015, to be exact.)
If you click on "flickr" it looks like you end up at flickr's home page.
