Behind the Scenes
Here's the basic idea...

Today's "window" was a plastic page protector, clamped to a backdrop bar (you can just make out the orange tips of the clamps in the shot above), resting on a Kibble Canister on one end and an identical Cookie Canister on the other, each sitting on top a rubbermaid bin, which contained misc props.
The camera was about 2-3 feet away toward you and the dogs were about five feet away in the opposite direction.
After taking the test shot (above) I moved the camera further from where the dogs would be and then moved the page protector closer to the lens to get bigger drops.
