Northern California is Known For its many wineries and fine wine.

Wente Vineyards (bottle shown here) was founded in 1883, and is the oldest continuously operating, family-owned winery in the USA.

Not sure how widespread they sell wines across the US, but in Northern California you can pick up an nice bottle for a good price at the local grocery store.
