The Best
Zachary |
Henry |
Dog Blog Post #2114
Playing around with fabric and wide aperture to try to get "shimmering".
There was way more luck than skill involved, as the amount of "shimmer" depended entirely on the light/camera/fabric angles.
The gold fabric on Henry (above) was way more successful than I thought it was going to be, and I wish I had stayed with it longer.
The silver fabric (below) SHOULD have been the most successful but was way too touchy about the angles and I never did get it right, although it had flashes of brilliance that I didn't capture.
The gold sequins on Zachary (topmost) was my fallback plan. Too bad I didn't get the camera lined up quite right.
Oh well, something to put in the toolbox to try again some other day.

Daily Dog Challenge 1623. "Dreamy"
The Rest
Liked the hints of color. This was the best of the bunch for this fabric. |
You can ALMOST see shimmer in the upper right |
Great drape. No shimmer. |
All were beautifully crisp images, and then I applied Luminance Noise Reduction to them to try to increase their "dreaminess".
I don't actually think it was successful, but I liked the look so I left it in.
