Why The Hat?

Because I had the camera really close to boys' faces.
And while the main (off-camera) flash is still up on the tripod where it always is, the camera flash triggers the off-camera flash.
So, I cover their eyes with the hat and flash away. :)
Do they mind?
Not at all.
