The top shot is a low-light (-5 EV), wide aperture (f/2.8), slow exposure (1/15s) shot.
The camera was sitting on the floor, fired by remote, and since the boys are pretty still when posing the blur was minimal.
That didn't stop me from having a bit of fun with sliders, however.
