Zachary's ears go this way and his fur goes that way (and the less said about the slobber, the better) but his attention and coordination is tightly focused on catching that Cookie.
And yes, if you look very closely you'll the Cookie "safely" corralled within Zachary's jaws.
You can't really see it that well in these pictures, but he has pulled his whiskers all the way forward - making the "holes" quite visible - perhaps so he can feel the Cookie go by if he misses it.
Which only happens when I make a really bad toss.
