Neat and Tidy

Henry: "Done, Momma!"
Zachary: "Bins all nice and tidy."

Zachary: "Where'd she go?"

Here are just a few of the prop bins that fill way too many shelves in my closet.

From top to bottom, we have:

* appetizer-sized plates, bowls, and cups
* Valentine's Day items
* silk rose petals
* flower leis plus a few other flowery things

The flower leis are, by far, the most used of these items.

I grabbed these particular bins because they each weigh next to nothing so I only needed to make a single trip. :)

Our Daily Challenge - October 10, 2016 - "Stash, Stow, or Store"

I love keeping my props in bins, as it makes setting up and taking down a breeze.

Daily Dog Challenge 1806. "Neat and Tidy"

Henry: "Do we still get the Cookies if she didn't did see us do the work?"
Zachary: "We better, if she ever wants us to help her again."

Aside: The boys get an After Dinner Cookie after every meal to keep speed-eater Zachary from trying to "help" Henry finish his bowl.

I stand waiting in the kitchen with a few Cookies in hand and the cabinet door open. Zachary trots in after he finished his meal and pushes the cabinet door closed with his nose to get a Cookie reward. Henry soon follows, and gets a Cookie for... well... being Henry.

The other day I was rinsing dishes while the boys ate, and my back was turned to the cabinet door when Zachary made his grand entrance. I expected he would push the cabinet door shut as usual, but it was oddly quiet behind me. I turned to find him sitting patiently (for Zachary) beside the door. As soon as he saw me looking at him he pushed the door closed with enthusiasm.

I guess he figured he wouldn't get his reward if I didn't see him do his good deed.
